Steps for preparing media:
- Dissolve media in water. Add agar if needed.
- Adjust pH.
- Heat the solution near its boiling point.
- Pour into flasks or any other heat resistant container.
- Sterilize by autoclaving.
A typical cultivation flask will take 25ml to 50ml of media, producing 20 to 40 flasks / L .
