Each liter of Murashige & Skoog Modified Medium (M401) correspond to 34.44g of the following powder mixture:
Steps for preparing media:
  1. Dissolve media in water. Add agar if needed.
  2. Adjust pH.
  3. Heat the solution near its boiling point.
  4. Pour into flasks or any other heat resistant container.
  5. Sterilize by autoclaving.
A typical cultivation flask will take 25ml to 50ml of media, producing 20 to 40 flasks / L .
