P668 – Original formula (27.31 g/L). Without agar .
Widely used in orchids propagation, tested and proven to work with most epiphytic and many terrestrials orchids. Based on Murashige and Skoog formula with modified organics and vitamins.
P668 Germination – P668 half strength with 20g/L sucrose. Contain agar agar.
Suitable for germination of most epiphytic and many terrestrials orchids. Species sensible to high salts concentration can be replated in this media.
P668 Replate – P668 full strength. Contain agar agar.
Suitable as replate media for most epiphytic and many terrestrials orchids.

Form: Powder ( This media is sold in powder form. Water must be added to prepare the media.)
Appearance: Gray Powder
Application: Orchid Culture
Solubility: Water

Storage Temp: 2-6°

Steps for preparing media:

  1. Dissolve media in water. Add agar if needed.
  2. Adjust pH.
  3. Heat the solution near its boiling point.
  4. Pour into flasks or any other heat resistant container.
  5. Sterilize by autoclaving.
A typical cultivation flask will take 25ml to 50ml of media, producing 20 to 40 flasks / L.
